One Killed in CNG Rickshaw Accident in Chatmohar

Pabna Representative: A man named Azimuddin Molla (55) has died in an accident in Chatmohar, Pabna. He was the son of the late Haran Molla from the village of Buri-Guakhra in the Mathurapur Union.

The incident occurred around 2 PM on Wednesday, May 14, in the Middle Shalikha neighbourhood of Chatmohar Municipality.

According to local residents, Azimuddin was crossing the highway after offering the Zuhr prayer at the Middle Shalikha Jam-e-Masjid when he was hit by an auto-rickshaw coming from Bhangura to Chatmohar. He was thrown onto the road. Locals immediately rescued him and rushed him to the Chatmohar Upazila Health Complex. His condition worsened on the way, and he passed away at around 3:30 PM while being transferred to the Pabna Medical College Hospital.

Chatmohar Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Manjurul Alam has confirmed the incident.
