Allegation of vandalizing and looting of Hindu houses against BNP leader in Kishoreganj

Kishoreganj Correspondent:  Local BNP leader and former UP Chairman Idris Ali has been accused of vandalizing and looting the house of a rich Hindu family in Brahmankachuri village of Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila.

A ground inspection on the evening of Friday, August 9, revealed gruesome scenes of assault and looting inside and outside the house.

Locals said that 30/40 attackers attacked and looted two rounds and looted all the goods of the house, furniture, chaldal, gold ornaments, cash 15 lakh taka, generator, IPS and even the electric motor of the house. When the neighbors came forward to prevent looting and vandalism, the BNP leader and his accomplices stopped them by threatening them with firearms and indigenous weapons.

Caretaker of the house. Al Amin said that during the first attack on the afternoon of Monday August 5, the family members of the deceased Ramakrishna escaped through the back door of the house to save their lives.

On the night of Monday, August 5, an army patrol visited the spot after receiving information and left the spot after ordering the locals to watch the house, the assailants started looting.

When asked about this, the former president of the District Puja Celebration Parishad and the president of the District Democrat Party, Advocate Bhupendra Bhowmik Dolan said that the incident is very sad and a matter of fear. I strongly condemn this incident and demand proper justice.
