Sports Desk: E-commerce company Evali has sponsored the Bangladesh team for the upcoming tour of New Zealand. Evale signed a contract with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday. The Bangladesh cricket team has no permanent sponsor since the 2019 World Cup.

Until the World Cup in England and Wales, the national team was sponsored by the multinational company Unilever. Since then, Mushfiqur has been on the field without a sponsor, sometimes in the national team jersey. The Tigers wore Beximco-sponsored jerseys in the latest series against the West Indies.

However, Evale, an e-commerce company from Bangladesh, has sponsored the Tigers in the upcoming tour of New Zealand. However, Evale is not doing this new work with Bangladesh cricket. Earlier, Evale was associated with BCB in BPL.

The e-commerce company has worked with the BCB even before it became a national team kit sponsor. The cricketers in the squad for the New Zealand tour also did a photo shoot on Monday in the new sponsor's jersey. After the 2015 World Cup, the national team was sponsored by mobile operator Robi.

Despite having a contract with the BCB until the 2019 World Cup, the mobile operator company had earlier withdrawn from sponsoring the national team. Then in 2016, Bangladesh Cricket Board signed an agreement with Unilever.

Despite having a contract with Unilever till January 31, 2020, Unilever withdrew from the contract after the series against India in 2019.
