Coronavirus: The number of deaths worldwide is 23 lakh 36 thousand

News Desk: The second wave of corona is going on in the world and new types of corona have been found in several countries including Europe. Experts believe that it is much stronger than the previous virus. Meanwhile, the number of victims of corona in the world has exceeded 106 million and the number of deaths has exceeded 23.36 million.

As of Tuesday (February 9th) morning, 107,044,444 people had been infected with the coronavirus and 23,38,242 had died, according to the WorldOmiter, a website that keeps coronavirus-infected and fatal statistics.

Seven crore 6 lakh 46 thousand 946 people have returned home after recovering. Corona has the highest number of infections and deaths in the United States. In the country which is at the top of the list, 2 crore 8 lakh 629 people have been infected with corona so far.

Four lakh 8 thousand 405 people have died. India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 1,48,790 people and killed 1,55,195. In the Latin American country of Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, 95,50,301 people have been infected with corona so far.

Two lakh 32 thousand 246 people have died. Russia ranks fourth in terms of attacks. So far, 39 lakh 63 thousand 198 people have been affected by corona in the country. The virus has killed 6,006 people.

The UK ranks fifth in the world in terms of attacks and deaths. So far 39 lakh 59 thousand 64 people have been infected with corona in the country. Of these, one lakh 12 thousand 798 people died. France is sixth, Spain seventh, Italy eighth, Turkey ninth and Germany tenth.

Besides, Bangladesh ranks 32nd. Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 217 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
