Thunderstorms and rain are forecast in several parts of the country, including Dhaka

News Desk: The meteorological office has forecast light or thundershowers in several parts of the country including Dhaka. These include Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Khulna divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather may be dry with partly cloudy skies.

Light to moderate fog is expected in some parts of the country, the Meteorological Department said in a forecast on Saturday night. According to the forecast, the extension of the subcontinental high pressure zone is located in Bihar and adjoining areas.

Most of the light pressure is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, adjacent to West Bengal. And the normal light pressure of the season is in the South Bay. Light to moderate fog is expected in some parts of the country from midnight to early morning on Sunday.

Dhaka will have a maximum wind speed of 8 to 12 kmph from the north-west / north. Besides, there is a hint of lowering the temperature again by Tuesday. However, the temperature will gradually increase in the extended five days.
