Coronavirus: 100 million infected worldwide

News Desk: The second wave of corona is going on in the world and new types of corona have been found in several countries including Europe. Experts believe that it is much stronger than the previous virus. Meanwhile, the number of victims of corona in the world has exceeded 10 crore 43 lakh and the number of deaths has exceeded 22 lakh 62 thousand.

As of Wednesday (February 3rd) morning, 10,43,91,018 people had been infected with coronavirus and 22,72,833 people had died in the world, according to the WorldOmiter, a website that keeps statistics on coronavirus infections and deaths.

Seven crore 72 lakh 46 thousand 542 people have returned home after recovering. Corona has the highest number of infections and deaths in the United States so far. At the top of the list, 27 million 34 thousand people have been infected with corona so far. Four lakh 56 thousand 758 people have died. India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 1,07,208 people and killed 1,54,835.

In the Latin American country of Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, 92,7,256 people have been infected with the corona so far. Two lakh 26 thousand 373 people have died. Russia ranks fourth in terms of attacks. So far, 38 lakh 74 thousand 630 people have been affected by corona in the country. The virus has killed 74,156 people.

The UK ranks fifth in the world in terms of attacks and deaths. So far, 38 lakh 52 thousand 623 people have been infected with corona in the country. Of these, one lakh 8 thousand 13 people died.

France is sixth, Spain seventh, Italy eighth, Turkey ninth and Germany tenth. Besides, Bangladesh ranks 31st. Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 217 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
