5 thousand taka will be given to 10 thousand government primary schools

News Desk: The government will implement school gardening and tree planting program in 10,000 government primary schools of the country. Each selected school will be given Tk 5,000. On Monday, the Department of Primary Education issued an order in this regard.

According to the office order, school gardening and tree planting program will be implemented in a total of 10,000 government primary schools in four years with the funding of the project under the social development and health department of Bangladesh Stouts. Under this program, a small garden will be created in each educational institution, four fruit trees will be planted and tended.

Each of the selected primary schools will be given Tk 5,000 each for school gardening and tree planting program. A list of names of 10,404 primary schools has been obtained from the offices of eight divisional deputy directors for implementation of school gardening and tree planting program.

The order further said that 10,404 primary schools were selected on a priority basis, one school per cluster in each list, and the divisional deputy directors were instructed to send them by email by Tuesday (February 2) with the school's account number divided into four.
