Luis Suarez's pair of goals helped Atletico Madrid win

Sports Desk: Atletico Madrid won 4-2 at Cdiz with a pair of goals from Luis Suarez. Diego Simeone's side hold the top spot in La Liga with six wins, 10 points ahead of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Suarez put Atletico ahead with a great free-kick in the 28th minute.

Cadiz equalized in the 35th minute with a goal from Alvaro Negredo. Atletico took the lead again in the 44th minute through a Saul Niguez goal from Thomas Lemar's cross. Suarez then scored his second goal from the penalty spot to make it 3-1.

Cadiz hinted at a return to the match with Negredo's 61st goal. However, in the 7th minute, Coke's goal poured water on the hosts in that hope. Suarez tops La Liga's top goalscorers this season with a pair of goals. The Uruguayan forward has scored 14 goals in 18 matches.

He left Barcelona last summer to join Atletico. Simeone's team holds the top spot in La Liga with 50 points from 21 matches. Which is 10 points more than Barcelona and Real in two and three. Atletico have won eight consecutive matches in La Liga since 2014. Out of which they have won 15 out of 18 league matches.
