News Desk: Three bills have been raised in Parliament to publish the results of HSC and equivalent examinations without examination due to coronation period. These bills will be passed quickly and the results will be published, said the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni. Bills have been sent to the concerned parliamentary committee for scrutiny for speedy results.

On Tuesday (January 19), Education Minister Dipu Moni introduced the Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill-2021, Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Amendment) Bill-2021, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board (Amendment) Bill-2021 in Parliament. The Intermediate and Secondary Education Bill was later examined within a day and the remaining two within two days and sent to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Education for a report. Earlier in the morning, the speaker said. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury presided over the sitting.

Jatiya Party senior MP Fakhrul Imam objected to the introduction of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill-2021 in Parliament. He objected to not getting notice before raising it in Parliament as per the rules. He also objected to the statement of the cabinet secretary after the cabinet meeting. Opposing the bill, Jatiya Party MP Fakhrul Imam said Article 16 (a) of the constitution states "to establish a people-oriented and universal education system of the same system and to provide free and compulsory education to all boys and girls up to the level prescribed by law.

" . Now you will pass the test, will it be in conflict with the constitution or not? There is talk of exams, there is talk of methods, there is no talk of taking exams, so is it in conflict with the constitution? The opposition MP also said that the rights of the MPs have been curtailed due to non-compliance with Rule 7 (e) of the Rules of Procedure. He said the bill is crucial. I am not against this bill. But here I was supposed to get any bill three days in advance as per Rule 7 (e) of the Rules of Procedure. But I didn't get it. I also searched yesterday, did not find. In response, the speaker said. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said, the bill came subject to my permission. Because it has some importance.

We have to pass these three bills. With that in mind, I have agreed to come up with these bills. Then the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni said this bill is very important. Because the student-parents are all waiting for the HSC results and our results are all ready. But since the law was about giving results by taking exams. This time it was not possible to take the test due to the global crisis. We are going to give these results based on the results of the previous two tests in an alternative method. That is why the current law needs to be amended.

That is why it has been brought. He further said that after bringing the bill in the cabinet, I said that since the parliament will start on the 16th, then I will try to raise it quickly. The day Parliament passes, if Parliament passes then we will give results quickly. This, of course, is the prerogative of Parliament. Of course, there is no authority to talk about when the parliament will pass. There is no opportunity for anyone to lay hands on the jurisdiction of Parliament. It is a very important issue so there is talk of speed. This is very important. All examinations of our board are subject to this Act.

The bill was later referred to a parliamentary standing committee for scrutiny and asked to submit a report on the bill within a day. Later, Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said the bill was raised with his approval. Regarding the purpose and reasons for the three bills, Minister Dipu Moni said, For students in a particular year without taking the exam or taking the exam in short syllabus, it is mentioned to issue instructions for evaluation and issuance of certificate in the manner mentioned in the notification.
