Corona killed 27 more people across the country, 835 identified

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 26 people have died due to coronavirus. Of these, 16 are men and 11 are women. All of them died at the hospital. The death toll from the virus rose to 7,626 people.

Saturday (January 2) in the afternoon, Additional Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. This information was given in a press release signed by Nasima Sultana.

In the last 24 hours, 10,006 samples have been collected and 160,925 samples have been tested in 180 laboratories. The total number of sample tests stood at 32 lakh 70 thousand 328. In the last 24 hours, 735 corona patients have been identified in the sample test. The total number of identified patients in the country is 5 lakh 16 thousand 19 people.

Meanwhile, 98 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in the last 24 hours at various hospitals and homes in the country, including the capital. So far, a total of 4 lakh 80 thousand 596 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, the sample test rate is 7.84 percent. So far, the detection rate is 15.63 percent considering the sample test and the recovery rate considering the detection is 69.28 percent. The identified mortality rate is 1.47 percent.

The age analysis of the dead showed that out of 28 people who died in 24 hours, three were in their forties, five in their fifties and 19 in their sixties. Besides, there are 15 divisions in Dhaka, four in Rajshahi, one in Khulna, two in Sylhet, three in Rangpur and two in Mymensingh.

On March 6, the first coronavirus patient was identified in the country. The first corona patient died on March 17, 10 days later. Of the total 8,728 deaths as of January 3, 5,797 were males (6.2 percent) and 1,729 were females (23.96 percent).
