Each shot of Coronavirus vaccine to be available at Tk425 in Bangladesh

CNI Desk: Each shot of coronavirus or Covid-19 vaccine will be available at a cost of around Tk425 in the country, said Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Saturday.

“The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine will be available at a maximum cost of $5 (equivalent to Bangladesh Taka 425),” he said.

The health minister came up with the information while exchanging views at an event in Manikganj, says media report.

 

The first consignment containing 50 lakh shots of Oxford's vaccine will reach the country this month, Zahid Maleque hoped.

Mentionable, the government has ordered Covid-19 vaccine for around 6 crore people. More orders will be placed in phases, he added.
