News Desk: Supreme Court lawyer JR Khan Robin has filed a writ petition in the High Court seeking closure of TickTock, Like, Bigo Live apps. He filed the writ petition in the concerned branch of the High Court on Wednesday (December 30).

In the writ petition, Home Secretary, Secretary of Posts and Telecommunications, Secretary of Information, Inspector General of Police and Chairman of BTRC have been named as defendants.

The protesting lawyer told Time News that the youth is going astray as a result of these apps. The future of many is being ruined by falling into the trap of tickling. Due to all these, the crime tendency is also increasing.

Earlier on October 8, the Supreme Court lawyer sent a legal notice to take necessary steps to shut down or ban these apps as the young generation has gone astray using Bigo Live, TickTock and Likei mobile phone apps. JR Khan Robin.

The notice was sent to the Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Secretary, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Chairman, BTRC. The writ was filed today as he did not reply to the notice.

Regarding the notice, lawyer JR Khan said that the use of these apps is misleading the young generation. It is destroying morality, social values ​​and mutual respect. Young people and teenagers are getting involved in gangs and taking part in criminal activities, becoming violent. Wants to gain cheap popularity through these apps and start thinking of himself as popular.

Bigo-Live app targets young people and young people come to live with obscene gestures and vulgar offers and tricks into sex through mobile banking. Considering the harmful aspects of this app, India and Pakistan have banned this app.

Through Tiktak, many teenagers are making videos by dyeing their hair in bizarre colors and following foreign subcultures, so that there is violent and vulgar content. India, Pakistan, and Indonesia have already banned the use of pornography, which is embarrassing, immoral, and encouraging.

The notice also said that the young generation is spreading pornographic videos by making short videos based on Singapore-based and sharing platforms. Therefore, in accordance with this notice sent in the public interest, the notice was sent to the concerned to take necessary steps.
