News Desk: Bangladesh is at the top in South Asia in dealing with the global epidemic of corona virus. Influential US news outlet Bloomberg has published a report titled 'Covid Resilience Ranking'. The country is also ranked 20th in the world. India and Pakistan are at the bottom of the rankings. Bangladesh is ahead of countries like United States, United Kingdom, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

Over the past few months, Bloomberg has been publishing an international ranking of coronavirus-based countries based on various indicators, including coronavirus infection control and economic resilience. Bangladesh was ranked 24th in November. But the country has risen four steps in one month by showing excellent skills. According to Bloomberg, only 5 percent of the people in Bangladesh are covered by the corona vaccine.

The number of corona cases per lakh people in the country is 34. The monthly mortality rate is 1.6 percent. For every 10 lakh, 44 people have died in Bangladesh. However, according to Bloomberg, Bangladesh is still lagging behind in terms of GDP and communication in terms of quality of life, but it is still lagging behind in terms of impact of lockdown on public life and quality of health care. Pakistan is ranked 29th among South Asian countries after Bangladesh. Their score is 54.8. And India is at number 39 with 50.6 points.

However, both India and Pakistan are far ahead of Bangladesh in terms of vaccination. New Zealand tops the rankings with good scores on coroner's infection and mortality control and vaccine assurance confirmation index. Their collection is 85.6 points.

Taiwan's score in the second place is 72.4. It is followed by Australia (61), Norway (6), Singapore (8.2), Finland (65.8), Japan (64.5), South Korea (63.3), China (72) and Denmark (60). .7), Canada (60), Vietnam (79.7), Hong Kong (7.5), Thailand (7.5), Ireland (7.3), United Arab Emirates (65.6), Israel (72). 4), Russia (61.6), Netherlands (61.3) and Bangladesh (59.2).
