Iftar party of Faridpur district police with orphans and helpless people

Faridpur Correspondent:  Superintendent of Police Md. Morshed Alam and District Commissioner Md. Kamrul Ahsan Talukdar had Iftar with the helpless, poor and orphan children of Madrasa in Faridpur on the occasion of Ramadan. This different type of iftar mahfil was organized on police lines on the initiative of the district police on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police Md. Morshed Alam said, under the direction of the Prime Minister, he advised not to have a big formal Iftar party this year. The prime minister asked the poor people to pray for Sehri and Itfari during fasting. In light of that, he organized this Iftar with about 600 helpless people of the city. 

He also said that since the first day of Ramadan, the district police have been going around to different places to arrange Sehri and Itfari for the helpless people.

Madrasah orphans, students, helpless poor people and beggars and destitutes are invited and taken along for prayer and iftar. They are very happy to be able to break fast on the invitation of the district police in the holy month of Ramadan.
