Google says there is no danger of Gmail being shut down

Only six months left. G-mail is going to be closed then  !  Social media is abuzz with such news. Google put an end to this speculation. Google said in a notification that there is no danger of G-mail being shut down in the near future. That is, customers will get e-mail service as before on this platform.

Now the question may come, then why the rumor started? Basically a screenshot recently spread on the internet. Where it appears, the e-mail is addressed to a Gmail user. It is mentioned there that Gmail will be closed after August 1st. No more e-mails can be sent after that date. No email will come through. Even the storage will be empty.

Gmail has decided to close itself, citing a long history. Such screenshots spread on social media. And then the practice begins. Millions of Gmail users frowned. Many claim that since Google's AI image tool Gemini was recently embroiled in a huge controversy. That may be the reason why Google has moved towards the decision to close G-mail. But on Friday, the X handle put water to all the speculations and announced, 'Gmail is here to stay.'

In September last year, Google announced that it has decided to close the 'HTML' version of Gmail. But users will get all the services in Gmail as before. So there is no reason to worry.
