Government will not accept free style program on Rajpath: Obaidul Quader

News Desk:  Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has warned that the government will not accept the free style program on the streets without permission. He gave this warning in a press briefing at the political office of the Awami League president in the capital Dhanmondi on Wednesday (January 31).

Obaidul Quader said that BNP's black flag march is illegal. The police did not allow it. Freestyle programs are not allowed without permission. won't take permission, and freestyle programs on the streets - there's no reason to think we'll accept it.

General Secretary of Awami League said that no one called the 12th National Parliament election as flawed. Neither is the United States. After the election results, US Ambassador Peter Haas congratulated the Prime Minister, met with some ministers including the Foreign Minister. The US ambassador was present from the beginning to the end of the last parliamentary session. Note the presence of the United States in the first session of the Parliament. What does it mean? Our selection is not flawed. Everyone showed interest in working together.

Regarding price control, he said, the government is not only talking, but also working. The government has apparently undertaken plans to control commodity prices. The Prime Minister has given the necessary instructions to the concerned ministries. Work has started accordingly. Control will not happen overnight. The government is not just talking. The government is in action. Action will be taken against whoever violates the law.

When asked about opposition leader GM Quader's speech in the 12th national parliament about the functioning of the parliament, the Awami League general secretary said, "If the parliament is not functional, why did he come?" While thanking the Speaker, what he said seems like Tulkalam will cause trouble. He spoke in violation of the rules. There was ample opportunity for him to speak.
