Cold is in Kurigram, the number of patients in the hospital is increasing

Kurigram Representative: The situation in Kurigram is dire due to severe winter and cold. The number of children and elderly patients in the hospital is increasing. The minimum temperature recorded in the district was 11.6 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Wednesday (January 10). Day laborers and hard working people are in trouble.

In the absence of winter clothes, poor people are warming themselves by burning straw. More than 20 children were admitted to the diarrhea ward of Kurigram General Hospital on Tuesday. A total of 43 children have been admitted there so far.

Subal Chandra Sarkar, officer-in-charge of Rajarhat Agricultural Meteorological Office, said the temperature will remain like this for a few more days. However, another cold wave may sweep over the district this month.
