"Bangladesh Police Force has a proud history of sacrifice in the Great Liberation War"

Mymensingh Correspondence: Today Sunday 29th October 2023 at 10:00 AM “Shika Samapana Parade of 51st Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) Batch” was held at Police Training Centre, Mahera, Tangail, Affiliated Training Center of 2 Armed Police Battalion, Muktagachha, Mymensingh. Mr. Banaj Kumar Majumdar, BPM(Bar), PPM, Additional IGP, PBI was the chief guest on the occasion.

The Chief Guest took the salute, inspected the parade and distributed medals to the trainees who excelled in various events. PBI Chief's wife Dr. Jaya Mallick graced the occasion as special guest. Mr. Ali Ahmad Khan, Captain (Additional DIG), 2 APBN, Dhaka, was present on the stage. In the speech of the chief guest, the PBI chief said that the Bangladesh Police Force has 

The proud history of the sacrifice of the Great Liberation War. Responding to the call of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the first bullet of resistance against the barbaric Pak forces roared from the three-not-three rifles of the Bangladesh Police. He expressed the hope that these young constables will work with sincerity and dedication, taking a firm oath to build a safe Bangladesh, inspired by the glorious role of their predecessors. 

He also said that Bangladesh Police has acquired the capacity to deal with scientific investigation of crime, suppression of cyber crime, militancy and terrorism. Bangladesh Police's skills and capabilities in combating militancy and terrorism have been praised nationally and internationally. To establish Bangladesh as a developed country in 2041, we will move forward with Bangabandhu's conviction to build Sonar Bangla, build Smart Bangladesh. 

He said that the knowledge gained by the new constables through the training will be applied judiciously for the welfare of the society and the country. He firmly believes that honesty, integrity and efficiency will brighten the image of the police force and will play an instrumental role in increasing public confidence in the police. He expressed the hope that after this training, the young constables deployed in different parts of the country will keep themselves involved in the socio-economic development of the country by improving the peace, progress, development and law and order situation of the country. He exhorted them to earn the love of the people by conduct and sincere service.

The award recipients for excellence in various subjects were (1) TRC No-110 Milad Hossain (Best TRC), (2) TRC No-244 Joy Roy Sourav (Best in 'Law'), (3) TRC No-33 Md Albab Hossain. Chowdhury (Best in Parade) It is noted that 253 people participated in TRC training of 51st batch and received 06 months of training.
