A conference titled 'Uttam Bhoomiseba for Citizens' was held under the initiative of Dhaka District Administration

News Desk:  A conference titled 'Better land service to citizens' has been held with the help of the Ministry of Lands at the initiative of the district administration. This conference was held today Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm in the Iskaton Multipurpose Hall with all levels of land officials of Dhaka district. 

The secretary of the Ministry of Lands was present as the chief guest at the conference. Khalilur Rahman, Dhaka Divisional Commissioner was present as a special guest. Sabirul Islam, member of land reform board Shashank Shekhar Bhowmik, director of land training center. Arif. Dhaka Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman presided over the conference.

Various panelists conducted sessions on technical and other existing challenges in providing better and sustainable land services to citizens in the conference. 

In the speech of the chief guest, the secretary of the Ministry of Land said. Khalilur Rahman said that the digital land services promised by the Prime Minister are being received by expatriates sitting abroad, now all the land administration should provide land services accurately within the specified time according to the laws and rules of the ministry.

In the speech of the special guest, the Divisional Commissioner said. Sabirul Islam said, Union land office, tehsil office should provide fast, accurate and sustainable services by using smart land management.

In the president's speech, Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman said that it is necessary to increase the revenue circle of the metropolis from 11 to at least 20 circles to make the land service of the huge area of ​​Dhaka district more speedy and accurate. All should act honestly according to law, departmental action will be taken against the culprits if necessary. 

The conference was attended by trainers at various levels of the Ministry of Lands, officials of Business Automation Limited, District Administration, Dhaka Additional District Commissioner (Revenue), Revenue Deputy Collectors, Metropolitan and Upazila Assistant Commissioners (Lands), Senior Assistant Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and Revenue Administration from Grade 10 to Grade 16. All officers and employees were present.
