News Desk: On the second working day of the week Monday (January 30), the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and another stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are trading with mixed trends. This information is known from DSE and CSE sources.
Half an hour after the start of trading on Monday, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE, DSEX, fell by 3 points to 6,284 points compared to the previous day. DSE Shariah Index and DSE-30 Index decreased by 1 point to 1371 and 2229 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 84 crore 85 lakh have been traded during this period.
Shares of 30 companies traded on Monday increased, 114 declined and 76 remained unchanged.
The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am on Monday are - Amara Networks, Bashundhara Paper, Eastern Housing, Genex, Intraco, Shinepukur Ceramics, Meghna Life, Sea Pearl, Gemeni Sea Food and JMI Hospital.
Earlier today, the DSEX index rose by 3 points in the first 5 minutes of trading. At 10:10 AM, the index fell by 4 points from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen downwards. At 10:20 am, 20 minutes after the start of trading, the index fell by 2 points to 6,285 points.
On the other hand, the CASPI index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose by 1 point to 18,570 points at 10:30 am after half an hour of trading. After that the speed of the index is seen upward.
Till 10:30 AM on this day, 62 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded in CSE. During this period, the price of 10 companies increased, 15 decreased and 9 companies' share prices remained unchanged.
