News Desk: On the fourth working day of the week Wednesday (January 11), the country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and another stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are trading with mixed trends.

Half an hour after the start of trading on Wednesday, i.e. at 10:30 am, the general index of DSE DSEX increased by 5 points from the previous day and stood at 6,210 points. DSE Shariah Index and DSE-30 Index increased by 1 point to 1358 and 2197 points respectively. Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 76 crore 43 lakh have been traded during this period.
Shares of 73 companies traded on Wednesday increased, 65 declined and 75 remained unchanged.
The top 10 companies traded till 10:30 am are - JMI Hospital, BSE, Bashundhara Paper, Orion Pharma, Intraco, Munnu Ceramic, BDCom, Malek Spinning, Genex and Orion Infusion.
Earlier today, the DSEX index rose by 4 points in the first 5 minutes of trading. At 10:10 AM, the index increased by 1 point from its previous position. After that the speed of the index is seen upward. At 10:20 am, 20 minutes after the start of trading, the index increased by 5 points from the previous day and stood at 6,210 points.
On the other hand, the CASPI index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) decreased by 13 points to 18 thousand 333 points at 10:30 am after half an hour of trading. After that the speed of the index is seen upward.
Till 10:30 am today, 1 crore 72 lakh shares and mutual fund units were traded in CSE. During this period, 11 companies' prices increased, 6 companies decreased and 15 companies' share prices remained unchanged.
