Punak brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of people in Bogra during the autumn festival

Sanju Roy, Bogra: Police Women's Welfare Association (PUNAK) stands by hundreds of needy families with autumn gifts on the occasion of autumn Durga Puja in Bogra. On the Mahanavami of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Sanatan Dharma followers, this gift was handed over to around 115 families with great love at Machhir Uddin Manch of Bogra Police Lines on Tuesday afternoon. District Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakraborty BPM was present as the chief guest in the function presided over by AIG (Crime Analysis) of Police Headquarters and Bogra district Punak Sabhanetri Sunanda Roy. In the speech of the chief guest, the Superintendent of Police said that the activities of Bogra Punak are always exceptional and commendable. Sharad Utsav is celebrated as a universal festival in Bengal. Punak Bogra's humanitarian initiative to share the joy of this Bengali festival of life will put a smile of peace on the faces of the gifted family members. He wished Punak Bogra to continue his positive work in the future and promised to support him in all good works. Newly promoted Superintendent of Police Ali Haider Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Abdur Rashid, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) Motahar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Helena Akhter, Vice President of Punak Bogra Nazifa Chowdhury were present on the occasion. And Dwil Akhtar Jahan, General Secretary Mahmuda Khanam, Treasurer Roshan Ara Munni, Habiba Binte Hafiz etc. In the event, 115 low-income people from different police stations of the district were given rice, dal, onion, oil, flour, coconut, paddy, saree and lungi in each bag as autumn gifts to their families.
