Teacher arrested in case of sexual harassment of student

Rabiul Alam Ivan, Kushtia: Assistant teacher Naharul Islam of Allahdarga Secondary School in Daulatpur, Kushtia has been arrested by the police in a case of sexual harassment of a student. When the matter came to light on Wednesday, the parents and students of the school became angry and started a protest demanding the arrest of teacher Naharul Islam. Then the police came and rescued Naharul Islam and brought him to the police station. Daulatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Jabid Hasan said that Naharul Islam, the assistant teacher of Allahdarga Secondary School, had been misbehaving with several female students for a long time. When the matter came to light, the parents and students of the school became angry. The police came and rescued Naharul Islam and brought him to the police station. The OC also said that a case of sexual harassment has been registered against the teacher Naharul Islam at Daulatpur police station based on the complaint of a victim student.
