Not the government, BNP is seeing mustard in its eyes: Obaidul Quader

News Desk: Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said - BNP is seeing flowers in its eyes, not the government. When more projects are inaugurated in the future, BNP leaders will see nothing but mustard flowers in their eyes.

This was said by the bridge minister during a briefing at the capital's Setu Bhaban on Wednesday (July 20) morning. He said this in reference to the statement of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir that 'in the current situation, the government is seeing flowers in its eyes'.

Obaidul Quader commented that the heartburn of BNP leaders due to the completion of the Padma Bridge has not subsided but is increasing day by day. Obaidul Quader said that many mega projects including the Metrorail of the young generation, the Bangabandhu Tunnel in Karnaphuli are coming, so the BNP leaders are seeing nothing but flowers in their eyes. When these projects are inaugurated in the future, they will see nothing but mustard flowers in their eyes.

In response to the statement of the BNP Secretary General, Obaidul Quader said that the daydream of the fall of the government that the BNP is seeing will soon turn into a nightmare.

BNP leaders, who are full of corruption, find the smell of corruption in everything. Lying about everything has become a daily routine of BNP. Citizens know that there is an energy crisis worldwide now and the Ukraine-Russia war has exacerbated this crisis.

The general secretary of Awami League said that the energy market has become extremely unstable due to the impact of the war, so that the country's economy does not face any major losses, the government has to take some precautionary measures in advance.

Obaidul Quader said that the BNP leaders are not talking about any solution to the global crisis but are trying to mislead the people by raising imaginary allegations of corruption and conspiring to incite the peaceful people who are in trouble. But these lies and conspiracies of BNP are now clear to the nation. People no longer believe in BNP. Awami League leadership is tested today in any crisis and disaster.

He said that while many developed countries of the world are struggling to deal with the Corona crisis, the Sheikh Hasina government has handled the crisis very efficiently and kept the country's economy running.

The countrymen know very well that Awami League under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina is far ahead of any other party in dealing with any crisis. Therefore, the countrymen will not fall into the trap of the BNP's conspiracy to incite the people by lying and misrepresenting. Even in the past, people have trusted Sheikh Hasina's government and still do.

Obaidul Quader expressed hope that even if the BNP could not understand the world situation and reality, the people would understand the matter and cooperate with the government. He said, under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina, this crisis will be resolved in a short time, God willing.
