SSC exam starts on September 15

News Desk: This year's SSC and equivalent exams, which were postponed due to floods, will begin on September 15. Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the date of the examination in a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday (July 17). This year's SSC examination was scheduled to begin on June 19, but the examination was postponed due to the deterioration of the overall flood situation in the country. In this, about 20 lakh 22 thousand candidates of SSC and equivalent are in uncertainty. In this situation, the new date of the examination has been announced. This time the examination time is reduced from 3 hours to 2 hours. Out of this, 20 minutes will be allotted for impersonal part of the question paper and 1 hour 40 minutes for creative part. This year 20 lakh 21 thousand 868 students are expected to participate in the SSC examination. Among them, there are 15 lakh 99 thousand 711 candidates in 9 general boards, 2 lakh 68 thousand 495 in submission and 1 lakh 63 thousand 662 candidates in technical. It is known that in Sylhet and Sunamganj districts, the textbooks of SSC and Dakhil candidates have been damaged, it has been decided to give them new textbooks. There are several additional books in Chittagong, Comilla and Brahmanbaria districts. They are being given to the affected students. Among these, books from the Chittagong region are going to Sunamganj. And the books of Comilla and Brahmanbaria districts are being given to the affected students in Sylhet.
