Dinajpur Correspondent: The foundation stone of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center has been laid at Government College Campus, Dinajpur at a cost of Taka 100 crore. State Minister for Information and Communication Junaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the project by unveiling the foundation stone and flying balloons on Tuesday morning. Thousands of young people will be trained in the 6-storey institution. Speaking at the inaugural function, State Minister for Information and Communication Junaid Ahmed Palak said the new address for youth employment is Sheikh Kamal IT Training Incubation Center. Once the project is completed, young people will not have to run for jobs. Besides earning lakhs of rupees, they will also be able to create employment for others. The Minister further said that by 2025, 3 million people will be employed in the ICT sector and the same sector will generate আয় 5 billion in export earnings. Sajeeb Wazed Joy has set a target to ensure employment of 3 million young women in the technology industry during that period. At present, we want to increase the export revenue from the IT sector from ৪ 1.4 billion to ৫ 5 billion. State Minister for Information and Communication Junaid Ahmed Palak told the media after laying the foundation stone of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center. With the training, students will be able to acquire world class skills and create employment opportunities. They will be introduced to the world market.
