Women arrested with 10 thousand pieces of yaba

Jabed Iqbal Chowdhury, Cox's Bazar: Police have arrested a woman named Samjida Begum (38) with ten thousand pieces of yaba tablets. He was arrested from Jalliapara in Ward 9 of Teknaf Municipality on Friday morning, February 11. At that time, Yaba tablets were found inside the school bag under the bed of his living room. She is the daughter of local Abul Kashem.

Teknaf Model Police Station OC Md Hafizur Rahman said that on the basis of secret information, Teknaf Police Station SI Sajib along with his allied forces conducted an operation and seized 10,000 Yaba tablets, Tk 15,000 in cash and a mobile phone. He also said that a case has been filed in this regard under the relevant law.
