This year's trade fair is coming to an end on January 31

News Desk: The International Trade Fair is being held in Purbachal following the rules of health within the restrictions imposed by the Cabinet Division. However, the scheduled activities of the fair are coming to an end on January 31, so the trade fair time is not increasing anymore.

Saturday (January 29) at noon, the Secretary of the Export Development Bureau (EPB) and the director of the fair. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury confirmed the information.

He said, "We are carrying out the activities of the trade fair in compliance with the health rules." However, the fair is scheduled to end on January 31. The fair time is not increasing anymore. The closing ceremony of the fair will be held on the last day. The presence of buyers during the holidays was noticeable, as a result of which the traders have made a fair profit.

Earlier, on January 25, the Kovid-19 National Technical Advisory Committee recommended the closure of trade fairs and postponement of book fairs due to the massive increase in corona infection. However, the trade fair activities were still going on.

Last Friday, the Cabinet Division issued five emergency directives to prevent coronavirus infection.

The directive says that masks must be used in all kinds of public gatherings including markets, mosques, bus stands, launch ghats and railway stations. The administration or law enforcement will monitor the matter.

Earlier, on January 10, a notification was issued by the Cabinet Division with 11-point instructions.
