But I hope the work on the main gate will be completed within this year. "My goal is to get the main gate completed by June," he said. Meanwhile, the progress report prepared by the university shows that the RDP had allocated Rs 2.36 crore for the main gate and Kazi Mahbubur Rahman procured tenders at a cost of around Rs 2.14 crore. Subsequently, the work order was issued on 23 December 2020. According to the report, the work was to be completed by December 2021.

But the construction of the gate has progressed by 22% till December and only 4% in the next three months from July to September.
