Dinajpur Correspondent: The 22nd batch SSP candidates held an hour-long human chain program in front of Dinajpur Press Club on Sunday morning demanding reduction of 2022 SSC exams in 30 percent syllabus. Hundreds of students from various educational institutions, including St. Phillips, Amena Baki, Collectorate and District Schools, took part in the placards with demands. They have given different slogans in favor of one point demand. The agitating students are claiming that they have been promoted from 9th class to 10th class without examination due to excessive corona. They are lagging behind in education due to closure of classrooms or coaching centers.

Also, due to financial constraints, many people could not buy books to take lessons. On the other hand, the candidates have only 6 months to take the class to take part in the upcoming 2022 exams. They have complained that most of the candidates will not be able to achieve the expected results if they take part in the examination in such a short period of time. They are demanding to take 30 percent (in short syllabus) examination considering these issues. The program was led by Safin, a student of St. Phillips High School and College, Rubayet, Tushar of Collectorate High School, Safa of Amena Baki School, Amir of Dinajpur High School and Nilay of Police Lines School among others.
