Khaleda Zia will return home from the hospital this afternoon

News Desk: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, is returning home. He will return home from Evercare Hospital in the capital on Sunday (November 8) afternoon.

BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information to Dhaka Post.

According to BNP sources, Khaleda Zia will return to her Gulshan residence Firoza from the hospital at 3.30 pm.

On October 12, 8-year-old Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital for treatment for the second time in a few months after she developed a fever. He is currently a professor of cardiology at Evercare Hospital. She is undergoing treatment under a 10-member medical board under the supervision of Shahabuddin Talukder. Earlier, Khaleda Zia was undergoing treatment at the same hospital for 54 consecutive days due to various diseases including corona.

Incidentally, on February 8, 2016, Khaleda Zia was sentenced to five years in prison in a Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case. He was first treated at the Special Jail in Old Dhaka and later at the BSMU Hospital. Following the outbreak of corona in the country, the government suspended Khaleda Zia's six-month sentence on March 25, 2020 at the request of her family. The government then extended his sentence for three more terms.
