Four instructions of the Ministry of Education regarding teacher-student vaccination

News Desk: The Ministry of Education has directed to take measures to vaccinate students of 18 years and above.

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education on Sunday. This was said in the order signed by Nazrul Islam. The notification was issued on Monday.

The order said teachers, staff and students of all educational institutions under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education were urged to take action to prevent the spread of coronavirus and to motivate others to take the vaccine.

The order requested the chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the director general of the secondary and higher education department and the chairman of all education boards to implement the directive.

The instructions are:

The head of the educational institution will motivate the teachers, officers and employees of all the institutions and the students above the age of 18 years to take their respective vaccines as per the instructions of the Department of Health.

Heads of departments, districts, upazila level offices, agencies and institutions under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education will motivate the teachers, officers-employees and students of the educational institutions under their respective departments to get vaccinated.

Teachers will motivate students and their family members online and in virtual classes about the vaccine of Kovid-19, including hygiene measures to prevent the spread of Kovid-19.

All departments, officers and employees of the organization and teachers, officers and employees will cooperate with the local administration to motivate the people to get vaccinated.
