Tentulia (Panchagarh) Correspondent: Import and export activities have started in Banglabandha, the only four-country land port of the country, after the 12-day holiday of the holy Eid-ul-Azha. Abdul Latif Tarin, president of Banglabandha Land Port Import-Export Group and co-president of Bangladesh Krishak League, and Kudrat E Khuda Milon, general secretary, confirmed the launch of the port on Saturday morning.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, a major religious festival of Muslims from July 19 to 30, the four-lane land port (BBIN) announced a 12-day shutdown of all import-export activities between Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal.
