News Desk: To reduce the session jam, the university administration is thinking of taking the semester final exams of all the departments of Jagannath University (JU) online. A six-member convening committee has been formed to explore the experience of various universities in taking exams online and to make recommendations on how to take exams through online platforms.

He said the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Professor. A. K. M. Moniruzzaman convener and director of the university's networking and IT office, Professor. A technical committee has been formed with Ujjal Kumar Acharya as member secretary. In addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor. Sarkar Ali Akkas, Director of Student Welfare Prof. Abdullah Al Baki, director of the Institute of Education and Research, Professor. Monira Jahan and University Professor. Nasir Uddin has been made a member. The committee has been asked to submit a report on whether the test can be taken online as soon as possible and how.

According to committee sources, a meeting of the committee was held on July 25. Everyone there agrees on a decision that if the test is not taken in the next two months, the test will be taken online. According to him, data for taking online exams of different universities is being collected.

If you can't take the exam physically due to the corona situation, of course we will take the exam online so that the session congestion of the students can be reduced quickly. For this, information is being collected from different universities. '

Jagannath University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Imdadul Haque said, ‘We have already formed a committee headed by the Dean of Business Studies. The committee has been asked to investigate the online test and make recommendations on how we can take the test through the online platform.

He added, ‘I will do my best to improve my students. We need everyone's cooperation in this regard. "
