Healy Land Port Representative: Import-export activities are also going on through Healy Land Port in the strict lockdown announced by the government to prevent corona infection. Like other days, import-export and release of goods between India and Bangladesh is going on. As a result, onions, rice, wheat, maize, stones and other daily necessities continue to be imported at the port. Sohrab Hossain Pratab Mallick, public relations officer of Healy Panama Port, a private operator of Healy Land Port, said that as there was no government directive to stop the activities of the port during the lockdown, import and export of the port and loading and unloading of goods were going on normally.

Kamrul Islam, deputy commissioner of customs at Healy land port, said the government has kept the land port customs stations open to keep the country's economy afloat. In addition, to keep the supply of imported products in the country's market normal, we are expeditiously providing all kinds of quick discounts in compliance with the hygiene rules.
