News Desk: The government has issued a circular announcing a comprehensive lockdown across the country to prevent Kovid-19 infection. The seven-day lockdown will begin at 6 a.m. Thursday. The circular said Bangladesh Bank will issue necessary instructions to ensure banking services within this period.

A circular issued on Wednesday called for the closure of government, semi-government, autonomous and non-government organizations. The army will also be on the ground with the police-BGB to implement the strict restrictions.

Strict disciplinary action will be taken against anyone who goes out of the house without an emergency service provider at work and without an urgent reason.
