The ten-day ‘Mujib Chirantan’ celebrations began at Parade Square

News Desk: On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence, a ten-day program has started at the national level and will continue till March 26. The ceremony started at the National Parade Square on Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony was conducted by popular actor, former minister, and MP Asaduzzaman Unur.

The main theme of the ten-day event is 'Mujib Chirantan'. The theme of Wednesday's event is 'Broken Door Comes Light'. The President is present as the chief guest. Abdul Hamid. Maldives President Ibrahim Mohammad is present at the ceremony chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Saleh. Cabinet members and Awami League leaders are present. National dignitaries also took part in the event. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will deliver video messages. March 18, 19, 22, 24, and 26 - these five days will be attended by foreign guests.

The five-day event will be attended by a limited number of 500 invited guests following the health rules. Among them are heads of different countries, heads of international organizations, and important people. Visitors will be able to attend these five days. The program will start at 4:30 pm every day and will end at 8 pm. The daily program will have a 30-minute break from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

There will be discussion meetings and cultural programs every day. Participants must collect a CVID certificate prior to the ceremony. The effectiveness of the Covid test will be 48 hours. 5 centers have also been fixed for the test. However, the program will be broadcast on the five days that the audience will not be able to stay. In addition to this five-day program, the other five-day program will feature speeches by heads of state, government, heads of international organizations, and important personalities. Each day's program will be broadcast live on television channels, online media, and social media.

The second day of the program is March 18: The theme of the event is 'The index finger of the great age'. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will address the gathering.

March 19: Program 'Yatkal Robe Padma Jamuna'. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will be present.

March 20: ‘The Light of Youth’. OIC Secretary-General on the occasion. Yousef Al Othaimeen will deliver the greeting speech.

March 21: Organized 'Song of Life in the Ruins'. The native academics will speak.

March 22: Organized 'Bangla Mati Amar Mati'. President Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and President of Nepal Vidya Devi Bhandari will be present on the occasion. The Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga will also give a congratulatory message.

March 23: 'Women's emancipation, equality, and freedom'. The DG of UNESCO will be present on this day.

March 24: 'Pioneer of Peace-Liberation and Humanity'. Bhutan's Prime Minister Lotte Shering will be present on the day. Pope Francis, the supreme leader of the Catholic Church, will deliver the greeting message.

March 25: ‘The Night of Genocide and the Journey of Light’. On the same day, South Korean Prime Minister Chung Soo-kwen and Takashi Hawakawa's son Osamu Hawakawa will deliver greetings.

March 26: Organized 'Golden Years of 50 Years of Independence and Progress'. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will be present on this day. As well as the President. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present.
