From today, students will get a refund for filling up the HSC form

News Desk: HSC and equivalent examinations for 2020 were not organized due to epidemic corona. Higher secondary results have been determined on the basis of the results of the previous two public examinations. As per the previous announcement, a partial refund is being given for filling up the examination form.

The Dhaka Board of Education will start distributing the money to the students on Tuesday (March 9), according to a notification on Monday night (March 8).

From Tuesday, checks for these funds will be distributed from the Accounts Branch of the Board of Education (3rd floor of Building No. 1, Room No. 207). However, under no circumstances should anyone other than the teacher be given the power to take the check.

In a circular signed by Dhaka Education Board Secretary Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, it has been said that the check for the amount deposited for filling up the HSC examination form will be distributed from the Accounts Branch as per the date mentioned below. Only the officer-in-charge of the concerned center or any teacher authorized by him (with attested signature) is requested to accept the check during the said office of all the educational institutions under the center.

It further said that under no circumstances should anyone other than the teacher be given the power to take the check. If the officer in charge of the center is the acting principal of the concerned institution, the application form should have the counter-signature of the President / Deputy Commissioner / Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the Governing Body.

If any error is observed in the check after receipt, it should be rectified by the Accounts Branch within seven working days. Earlier, on January 31, the 156th meeting of the Dhaka Education Board decided to return the money to the students. On the day of publication of HSC and equivalent examination results on January 30, the Education Minister announced to return the unspent money to the students. Dipu Moni.

How much will be refunded: According to the Dhaka Board of Education, a regular student of the science department will get a total refund of Tk 1,065. Of this, the education board will give 480 rupees and the center will give 225 takas.

The use of eight subjects is 45 taka for a total of 360 takas. A regular student in the humanities and business education branch will get a total of 625 takas. As department-wise, a total of 13 subjects are examined in three departments of HSC. The Board of Education will refund 30 takas for each letter from the money taken by the board for each letter. It will get a total refund of 390 takas in 13 cases.

Along with this, there are practice tests in nine subjects in the science department. A total of 90 takas will be refunded at the rate of 10 takas per letter. A student in the science department will get 480 takas back from the Board of Education. On the other hand, the test center will give a total of Tk 200 for 13 subjects and a total of Tk 225 including Tk 25 from the practical book for information and communication technology.

The usage is 45 taka for a total of 360 takas. In all, a science student will get a total refund of 1,065 takas. A regular student of the humanities and business department will get a total of Tk 390 from the Board of Education and Tk 200 from the examination center in 13 subjects. Besides, you will get 10 takas from the Board of Education and 25 takas from the Center for the use of information and communication technology. He will get a total of 625 taka.
