Rabindranath's 163rd Birth Anniversary: ​​Vice-Chancellor's Floral Tribute to Kabiguru's Portrait

University Representative: Today is Wednesday (May 8) the 163rd birth anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, one of the greatest poets of Bengali language and literature, the hero of Bengali language and literature excellence. He was born on 25 Baisakh of 1268 Bangabd (1861) in the famous Tagore family of Jorasanko, Kolkata. National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar.

On Wednesday (May 08) morning, wreaths were placed on the portrait of Kabiguru at the Vice-Chancellor's office. University Treasurer Professor Dr. was present at the time. Ataur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Musharrat Shabnam, registrar agriculturist Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Proctor Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee and others.

On Rabindranath's birthday, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar said, Ribandranath is a man in true sense. He lived among us in His human form. will live In our past lives; We need to apply Rabindranath's thoughts and philosophy in our daily life.

Treasurer Professor Dr. Ataur Rahman said, 25 Baisakh is not only a memorable day in the entire Bengali life but the day touches an important place of our emotions. Our poet Rabindranath Tagore was born on this day, then for 80 years he enriched Bengali life with emotions, thoughts and feelings. He is associated with our literature, culture and music. He is not just a person to us. He will forever be remembered for his actions.
