The Prime Minister will not move into Jamuna.

News Desk : For now, Prime Minister Tariq Rahman is not going up to the state guest house Yamuna. Prime Minister Tariq Rahman has decided to stay at house number 196 of Gulshan Avenue.

Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon gave the information on Thursday (March 19).

He said, Prime Minister Tariq Rahman will stay at his residence in Gulshan. Government residence is not rising in Yamuna.

Tareek Rahman feels comfortable living in his small house in Gulshan. That's why Tariq Rahman moved to this house after returning home. That's how the house is arranged.

Atiqur Rahman Rumon said that the Prime Minister will come to the National Eidgah at 8 am on Eid. The prime minister will offer Eid prayers and exchange greetings with prominent people of the country at Yamuna from 10 am.

The exile of 17 years was broken on December 25th of the year Tarek Rahman returned to Dhaka with his family at house number 196 in Gulshan, since then they have been living there. His mother BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia lived in the house named 'Firoza' next door.

House number 196 was allotted to his wife Khaleda Zia after the assassination of President Ziaur Rahman. This decision was taken by the cabinet of then President Justice Abdus Sattar.

Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan and Rajuk Chairman Riazul Islam Riju handed over the documents of this house to the BNP Chairperson last year.
