News Desk: BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, is in a critical condition, according to the party’s Vice Chairman Ahmed Azam Khan.
Speaking to the media, he said Khaleda Zia’s health is extremely precarious and described it as a “very deep condition,” adding that he preferred not to provide further explanation. He noted that it could be referred to as a critical or ventilated condition.
Khaleda Zia was brought to Evercare Hospital on the night of 23 November from her Gulshan residence, Firoza, for health check-ups. Following the advice of a medical board, she was admitted to the hospital, where she is undergoing examinations and receiving necessary treatment.
She has long been suffering from multiple health complications, including arthritis, diabetes, kidney and lung problems, and eye issues.
