Narail Correspondent: The 54th National Cooperative Day was celebrated in Narail with colorful events under the theme, “Equality and Solidarity Build the Nation through Cooperatives.”
On Saturday (1 November) at 10:00 a.m., a vibrant rally was organized by the District Administration and the Cooperative Department of Narail. The rally paraded through the main streets of the town and concluded at the District Commissioner’s office.
Following the rally, a discussion session was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office. The chief guest was Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) and Deputy Secretary, Lincoln Biswas. Special guests included Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Ahsan Mahmud Rasel, Police Superintendent’s representative Court Police Inspector Suresh Chandra, and other officials.
The session began with a welcome speech by District Cooperative Officer Abdur Rahman. Various speakers, including cooperative women entrepreneur Suraiya Islam Rikta, shared their experiences and insights. Government officials, representatives of cooperative organizations, and members of the civil society participated in the event.
The day-long programs concluded successfully, marking the celebration of National Cooperative Day in Narail with enthusiasm and community participation.
