No one else can read your chats on WhatsApp

Users can lock private chats with fingerprint. But there remains a problem. This chat has to be locked with the same fingerprint used to lock the phone. So if someone manages to unlock the phone, all the chats are at his fingertips.

However, despite having all these features, WhatsApp has brought a new security feature to keep private chats foolproof. Its name is 'Secret Code' feature. This feature will work on both Android and iOS systems. Let's see how to enable this feature on WhatsApp, what are the benefits-

With this secret code feature user can set custom password in locked chat. You can even give your own name. This locked chat will be at the top of the app. If the phone falls into someone else's hands, these chats are difficult for him to find. And even if you get it, it won't open without the secret code. Typing the wrong code will keep the chat locked. That chat cannot be accessed in any other way.

To use the secret code feature, some chats on the device must be locked first. For this, you need to open WhatsApp first. Now the user will press and hold on the chat they want to lock. Once the chat is selected, click on the three dots menu on the top right side of the screen. Here the 'lock chat' option will appear. Click on it. Then the user has to tap on continue. At the end of all authentication with biometric (fingerprint or face lock). Only then will the chat be locked. Users can also open locked chats by swiping from the 'Chats' tab and selecting 'Locked Chats'.
