Coronavirus: 42 more people died in the country, 2 lakh 97 thousand infected left

News Desk: The number of deaths due to coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country has reached four thousand. In the last 24 hours, 42 more people have joined the death procession. A total of 3,983 people died from the virus. In the last 24 hours, another 2,485 new patients have been identified as infected. The total number of identified patients stood at two lakh 97 thousand 83 people.

This information was given in a press release on coronavirus of the Department of Health on Monday (August 24) afternoon.
