International Desk: Five people have been killed in firing by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab. The BSF claimed that they were trying to 'infiltrate' India. This information has been informed in a report of Indian media NDTV. According to the BSF, five infiltrators were trying to enter India through the Indo-Pakistan border at Khemkaran in Taran Taran district around 5:15 am on Saturday. At that time, the BSF patrol team saw the intruders. Immediately they become alert. The BSF claimed that the infiltrators started firing indiscriminately as soon as they saw the patrol team.

There was a massive exchange of fire between the two sides. The BSF claimed that five infiltrators were killed when BSF jawans opened fire in self-defense. After the shelling, the whole area was surrounded.
