NEWS DESK : The deadly corona virus is still one week away from being eight months old. The virus has already killed 8 lakh people around the world. It took only twenty days to reach the last one lakh. And almost 2 crore and 31 lakh people still affected globally. However, more than half of the victims have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 5,846 people have been killed in the world, according to regular figures from the world-renowned survey organization WorldOmiter. The death toll has risen to 8 lakh 2 thousand 384 people. On the other hand, another 2 lakh 49 thousand 151 people have been affected by Corona. The number of victims is 2 crore 30 lakh 99 thousand 314 people. And more than 1 crore 56 lakh 96 thousand patients have recovered. Most of them are citizens of countries like USA, Brazil, India, South Africa, Mexico.

So far, the virus has been controlled in several European countries and China. However, even if the countries return to normalcy, they are not being completely liberated. There are still more and more infections and deaths every day.

The United States have suffered the most in Corona. About 57 lakh 97 thousand people have been infected with the virus so far. Of these, 1 lakh 79 thousand 200 people lost their lives.

The number of infected people in Brazil has increased to more than 35 lakh 36 thousand. The death toll has risen to 1 lakh 13 thousand 454 people.

Corona virus have infected 69,000 people in India, the third-largest South Asian country in the world, in a single day. The number of victims has exceeded 29 lakh 73 thousand. The death toll has risen to 55,928.

The number of infected people in Russia is around 9 lakh 47 thousand. Corona has so far killed 16,189 people in the world's second-largest country, Russia. The number of infected people in South Africa is more than 6 lakh 3 thousand. And 12 thousand 843 people have died.
