Awarding of district administration in recognition of good work in Magura

Magura representative: 'Magura district administration will recognize the civic practice of good work', 18 individuals, organizations and organizations in Magura have been awarded crests by the district administration. On Sunday (February 25) at noon, the Deputy Commissioner's conference room, Chander Hat, was given the civil award for this good work.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Abu Naser Beg, the secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare was present as the chief guest. Khairul Alam Sekh, Magura Police Superintendent Moshiuddaula Reza, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Magura Muhammad Moniruzzaman, Deputy Director of Social Services Office Zahidul Alam and officials of various departments and dignitaries. 

The team of the Islamic Foundation who completed the burial during the corona period received an award in recognition of the good work, the team leader, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation, Md. Moniruzzaman, said after receiving the award, during the Corona period, when the child does not hold the father's body, the father does not hold the child's body. Our burial team members carry out the burial/burial in full religious observance. While doing this work, I myself got infected with corona virus twice and later got a heart block and had to wear a ring. Also, other members of ours have done this humanitarian work only for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala despite the risk of death. 

Fakrul Alam, who received the award, said that he has been serving as a private teacher since 2003 after working in various companies. He paid 20 rupees per day and gave free lessons to the poor. 

Apart from this, Disha Biswas, the cricketer of the national women's cricket team, was given an award in recognition of her good work.

According to the sources of the District Commissioner's office, this initiative was taken after the current Deputy Commissioner Abu Naser Baig joined in 2022. However, from March 26, 2023, the official journey of recognizing citizens involved in good deeds has officially started. About 200 people have been recognized for good work from March 26 last year to February 25 this year 2024.
