10 crore worth of private land recovered in Demra

Own Correspondent:  Demra Revenue Circle of Dhaka district has recovered government private land worth about 10 (ten) crores from illegal occupiers. The amount of reclaimed land is 82.92 per cent.

On Tuesday, on the orders of the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Anisur Rahman, the land of Demra Revenue Circle Baludhitpur Maujastha City No. 82.92 of Dag No. 1951 was recovered with an estimated current market price of Tk 10 crores. 

Dhaka District Deputy Commissioner Mr. Anisur Rahman said that the district administration will continue this type of operation to protect government property. All Khas land in Dhaka district will be recovered.

Under the overall direction of Dhaka District Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Shibli Sadiq, Demra Revenue Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) Noorjahan Akhter Sathi conducted a raid and recovered this land. At the same time, the district administration took control of Dhaka by pulling the signboard. Two surveyors of Demra revenue circle, concerned land assistant officers and local people were present during this operation.
