Kurigram representative: The best officer in charge of Kurigram district police was selected as the officer in charge (OC) of Ulipur police station. Ghulam Mortuza. On Sunday (January 21) afternoon at Police Lines Forces Mess under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam, OC Ghulam Mortuza was presented with the best OC crest and award at the monthly welfare meeting.

The Superintendent of Police gave this award to him for his important contribution in the law and order situation, drug recovery and ensuring public safety in December/2023. In addition, as the best SI, Ulipur police station SI Md. Atikuzzaman Atiq, SI Mizanur Rahman Mizan and as the best warrant officer, Ulipur police station ASI Md. Ariful Islam were awarded.
