There is no substitute for awareness to combat the adversities of climate change: Bogra Superintendent of Police

Bogra Correspondent:  Bogra Superintendent of Police (Newly Promoted Additional DIG) Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty BPM PPM said that there is no alternative to awareness in dealing with the adversities being created globally due to climate change. Development activities are never achieved by destroying nature in developed countries but it is time for us to adopt a more responsible and well-planned approach towards it. He said that children are most at risk due to global changes, so children should be prepared for the future from now on. 

The speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the impact of climate change and the future of children and painting competition organized by the National Children's Task Force (NCTF) in Bogra and in collaboration with Yes Bangladesh on Tuesday afternoon at the meeting room of the Superintendent of Police office under the slogan 'Invest for children, build the future world'. He said the above. In the event, Sudeep Chakraborty gave various directions to shape the future of children. He said, if patriotism can be awakened in their hearts from a young age, that child will surely develop into a real person. He praised NCTF Bogra leaders for their speaking skills and leadership qualities and wished them all the best for moving forward in this way.

NCTF Bogra District Volunteer Journalist Sanju Roy gave a welcome speech at the meeting and NCTF Bogra President Shahriar Nafiz presented the negative impact of climate change on children, Mirabbi Hasan Siam, child MP of the organization. Muhammad Mahmudur Rahman, Acting Director of National Computer Training and Research Academy (Nectar) Bogra, Abdus Salam Babu, Vice President of Bogra Press Club and Chandan Kumar Roy, Director of Satrong Art School spoke as special guests in the meeting. Under the management of district volunteer Habiba Nasreen, NCTF Bogra general secretary Maliha Islam, child journalists respectively Alif Hasan and Mehrunnecha Lamia, child researchers Zaima Alam Mariam and Roknul Islam were also present among the children in total 20 members of NCTF Bogra. After the discussion meeting, the chief guest Sudip Chakraborty handed over the prizes and certificates to the winner of the painting competition organized by NCTF on climate change and children's thoughts held on October 30, the winner of the 1st place, Faiyaz Rahman, the 2nd place Madhurya Bhowmik and the 3rd place winner Atkia Anjum Tasha.
